In traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture is on of the main forms of treatment.  It uses sharp, thin needles that are inserted into the body at varying pressure points.  It is believed that it adjusts or alters the body's energy flow into healthier patterns, and it is used in treating a wide variety of illnesses and health conditions.  It is important to note that not everyone will respond to acupuncture treatment.  Of those who do everyone of them respond to acupuncture differently.  Some people will respond very quickly and see results right away, while others respond more slowly and can take longer to realize the full benefit of acupuncture treatment.

Some conditions that are treated with acupuncture are

  • Stress
  • Arthritis

Acupuncture helps you to regain both physical and emotional wellbeing by addressing the root causes of your condition and focusing on treating the specific condition versus the "hit and miss" manner of conventional medicine.  Many Western Practitioners in the last few decades are now viewing acupuncture points as places that stimulate the nerves, muscles and its connective tissue which appears to increase the flow of the body's own natural pain killers and blood flow.
